Identify possible sponsors and providing contact details/personal contact Follow-up visits to potential sponsors to secure and discuss level of support
Publicity:
LOCAL: Distribution of flyers and posters to Olympus Theatres, Sheraton Centre, hotels, restaurants, bars, video stores, supermarkets etc.
INTERNATIONAL: Web searches for appropriate targets to send Festival promo blurb with web-page link (film schools and film sites, tourism offices, academic institutions etc.)
Set up Phase:
Airport pickups: taking guests from airport to Blue Horizon Hotel Set up of NCF promo booth in Sheraton Centre or elsewhere (liaison with Sheraton Admin. and Café Jungles)
During the Festival
Promo: Sale of t-shirts, distribution of flyers in Olympus foyer Technical: supervision of setup for DVD/video screenings; ensuring that sound and picture test is carried out; liaison with Olympus and projector rental company On-call vehicle owners: escorting filmmakers/visitors with special requests; transporting equipment or people outside the official bus schedule. Cell phone also required.
